Skype is a great PR tool. It is similar to podcasts but it's visual and audio, not just audio like podcasts. Skype is free to anyone and the only tools you need are the internet, of course, a webcam, speakers, and a microphone. Skype allows you to have online conversations while using a webcam. It is more personal than a podcast because you view the person you are talking to and it works just like a telephone.
Skype would be perfect for overseas meetings, live viedeo conferencing, and for keeping in touch with faculty, friends and family. Skpye can also record conversations. If a company needed to do a training session they could do it with skype because they could demonstrate what they were training. For example, how to make a latte.
