What kind of President do you want?

I don't know how I feel about an African American President, but I also do not know if all my thoughts and pride go out to a women either. Last Thursday, February 21, 2008 Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama spoke here in Austin at the University of Texas in front of a large group of people, and the debate was also aired on CNN. http://edition.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/02/21/texas.debate/

The debate was important locally because it really got not only young people to get involved, but everyone in Austin. It was a good opportunity to really see what kind of changes could be made. Great topics were discussed and both democrats brought up excellent points; such as health care. Some proponents say that Universal health care is a must in America for the citizens and Clinton and Obama agreed to disagree with this specific topic.

This is our generation, and we need to make a smart, long decision to better our country. Don't forget to vote, and lets try to work at this together to make The United States a safer more reliable place. The debate was a big deal and we were lucky to have them come here to our city of Austin.
