FOX cuts Montel for cutting loose

Montel Williams lost his job for speaking his mind on a Fox news broadcast. Montel addressed the issue that to much airtime was being focused on the death of famous actor Heath Ledger, and not enough time on the 28 people that have died in the war in Iraq.  Montel was asked to join Fox news for a special, and instead of agreeing with the hosts of the show, he shocked them. Montel exposes the "news" shows and american culture by saying that they have both become shallow and greedy. After being cut off, Montel did not return after the commercial break. Four days later,  key FOX owned stations decided not to renew his show for the 2008-2009 season. Montel has been a television host for 17 years and now is being let down by the media for trying to help out the soldiers of the U.S. military. Montel is now being backed by american troops around the world, and FOX might have a PR crisis on their hand. Having this event happen on FOX news (a station that has done more harm to the U.S. military than any other) makes their image worse, and thats why so many troops are backing Montel up on his decision.
"Montel Williams is an American patriot. Though he left the military years ago, he has never forgotten “his” troops."- Brandon Friedman
